Anglo-Danish-Dutch Study of Intensive Treatment In People with Screen Detected Diabetes in Primary Care



	Welcome to the website of the ADDITION study! Anglo-Danish-Dutch study of Intensive Treatment In PeOple with screeN detected diabetes in primary care The ADDITION study is a multi-factorial intervention study which focuses on morbidity and mortality among people with type-2 diabetes. People aged 40-69 years in three different European countries participate in the study. The overall aims of the ADDITION study are to evaluate screening methods for prevalent undiagnosed type-2 diabetes, and to develop and evaluate optimised intentive treatment of diabetes and associated risk factors.
